Conferences and educational workshops

the HWC has sponsored educational conferences where national presenters share their expertise with the members of HWC and the broader Albuquerque community. Educational workshops are held throughout the year on topics of interest to the membership, such as financial planning, negotiating a salary or a raise, running for public office, and taking care of aging parents.

Networking

our signature networking event is the "Mitote Power Hour," an informal get-together, often hosted in someone's home. These events provide a casual setting where we can "just visit" and exchange information about current events or opportunities. Local guest speakers or performers are welcome.

Mother-Daughter Brunch

a signature, yearly event held around Mother's Day to honor women who have enriched our lives including our mothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, or best friends. Both festive (we dress up and wear hats) and lively (food, entertainment, door prizes), this is one of our best-attended events.
